Vision / Purpose

The Charlotte Sports Foundation provides leadership for sports-based initiatives that create a positive economic impact and enhance quality of life in the Charlotte region. Established in 2013, we’re a 501 (c)(3) organization that develops unique experiences, events and business opportunities around professional, collegiate and amateur sports. Our signature events include the annual Belk Bowl, the Belk College Kickoff Game, and the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game.

Economic Impact Overview

Since 2013, Charlotte Sports Foundation-hosted events have had a more than $100 million economic impact on the Charlotte area. This substantial contribution enhances the quality of life in the region and brings national exposure to the city as a desirable destination for major sporting events. Here’s a snapshot of our recent successes.

The Charlotte Sports Foundation provides of a variety of post-graduate internship opportunities. Interns will have the opportunity to work CSF events including but not limited to the Belk College Kickoff Game, Dr Pepper ACC Championship Game, and the Belk Bowl.
