Sports Biz Careers
CSF is proud to support Sports Biz Careers' mission to empower future leaders in sports and participates in Charlotte Sports Business Fellowship, a transformative, paid summer initiative designed to launch underrepresented college students into careers within the sports industry.
Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools
CSF supports CMS through initiatives like the Extra Yard for Teachers program, which honors and empowers educators, and theJimmie Lee Kirkpatrick Award presented annually to a senior football player who excels on the field and demonstrates a strong commitment to community service, celebrating Kirkpatrick's legacy as a civil rights trailblazer.
Art with Air
Art with Air presented by Truist supported local and Western North Carolina artists by providing platforms to showcase their basketball-inspired work and engage with the community throughout the week of the 2024 Jumpman Invitational.
Second Harvest
Duke's Mayo Bowl teams actively participate in community service during bowl week by volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. During their time in Charlotte the teams dedicate time to assist with food sorting and packaging, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the Charlotte community.
Charlotte Invitational
Ahead of the 2024 Charlotte Invitational, the CSF and Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation unveiled a newly refurbished tennis court at L.C. Coleman Park in west Charlotte. Tennis pros Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys delivered the first serve at the event, which also announced a partnership with Black Tennis Connect to implement community programs aimed at growing tennis within marginalized communities.
Charlotte Sports Foundation's impact on the charlotte community goes far beyond bringing world-class sports experiences to the Queen City. in addition to the economic benefit their work has on local businesses of all sizes, we've witnessed firsthand the intentionality with which they incorporate engagements that expose youth to various opportunities on and off the field of play.
