The Charlotte Sports Foundation (CSF) announced today that the University of Wisconsin will take on Virginia Tech in the 2031 Duke’s Mayo Classic at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
This matchup will bring together two tradition-rich programs in the heart of Charlotte, offering fans a chance to experience the energy of Big Ten and ACC football colliding on a national stage. Neither team is new to Charlotte, with both having played in the Bowl game version of this event before, Wisconsin in 2020 and Virginia Tech in 2016, 2019 and 2025.
