Charlotte Sports Foundation Associate Executive Director, Will Pitts, recently was named one of 40 individuals under 40-years-old who are making a significant difference in the Charlotte region by the Charlotte Business Journal. Now in its 29th year the program aims to recognize people who “bring their energy and talent to the companies they work for as well as the community at large.”
Pitts, serving in his 12th year at CSF, meets and surpasses this criteria as he has been instrumental in the growth of the organization, highlighted by the estimated $95 million economic impact CSF’s events generated for the Charlotte area in 2021. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of CSF, he also serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Central Carolinas.
“Will has been a key part of the Charlotte Sports Foundation’s success and growth,” said Danny Morrison, Executive Director of CSF. “His passion for his work and the way he treats people is first-class and he is an incredible ambassador for the Foundation and Charlotte as a whole.”
