Charlotte Motor Speedway

O. Bruton Smith’s dreams of the perfect race track came true when he opened Charlotte Motor Speedway in 1960. The 1.5-mile superspeedway was the first of its kind with a unique dog leg at the start-finish line, and its 24-degree banked turns ensured high-speed, no-holds-barred racing would always be the norm.

Fifty-six years later, Smith’s first and most successful track has conceptualized the ideal racing experience. From May 20-29, Charlotte Motor Speedway’s 10 Days of NASCAR Thunder will take center stage in the racing world. The May 21 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race – a $1 million fight for supremacy among the sport’s brightest stars – coupled with the historic May 29 Coca-Cola 600, the toughest race on the NASCAR calendar, and a slew of thrilling races and concerts combine to leave race fans with 10 unforgettable days of excitement. Get your tickets now for every 10 Days of NASCAR Thunder event, and enjoy a bevy of adrenaline-pumping action.

NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race

Twenty of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ biggest stars will converge on Charlotte Motor Speedway during the May 21 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, a bumper-banging battle for a unique trophy and a $1 million prize. Qualifying features the Sprint Cup Series’ only no-speed-limit pit stops, which provides the ideal visual prior to all-out racing action. A pre-race concert featuring triple-platinum recording artist Andy Grammer is sure to spice up a spectacle unlike anything else on NASCAR’s schedule.

Coca-Cola 600

The historic 57th running of the iconic Coca-Cola 600, the sport’s most challenging race for drivers, wraps up Memorial Day Weekend with a bang – literally. A moving pre-race tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces and a rocking concert from GRAMMY-nominated country music star Lee Brice will set the scene for a patriotic motorsports spectacle no race fan will want to miss. And with a new lower-downforce racing package, the on-track action promises to be wilder than ever.
