Charlotte N.C. – The Charlotte Sports Foundation (CSF) and the Charlotte Chamber announced the launch of the Hail to the Heroes campaign at a joint news conference today. The Hail to the Heroes program offers local companies and individuals the opportunity to honor the community’s first responders, military, and teachers with tickets to the 2016 Belk Bowl, as well as see Tim McGraw perform at the Belk Bowl FanFest before the game.

“We are excited for the opportunity to welcome these unsung heroes to the 2016 Belk Bowl,” said Will Webb, executive director of the Charlotte Sports Foundation. “We are thrilled to have the Chamber partner with us, and believe this program will have tremendous support from the Charlotte business community.”

Hail to the Hero partners may choose from a variety of packages which include unique opportunities to be recognized during the game as well as choose the hero organization they wish to support.

“What better way for the Charlotte business community to say thanks to all of these deserving men and women than give them a day off to enjoy at a fantastic game and concert,” added Bob Morgan, Charlotte Chamber CEO and President.

The 15th annual Belk Bowl will take place Dec. 29 at Bank of America Stadium with a 5:30 p.m. kickoff. Country music star Tim McGraw will perform before the game at the Belk Bowl FanFest in BB&T BallPark. For more information about the game or how to access the Tim McGraw concert please visit
